The film needs to be pruned in places, specially since the comic acts get repetitive. But by and large, there’s a laugh riot waiting for you at the multiplex
Golmaal 3 is pretty much what it promises to be a silly comedy, idiotic enough to be enjoyed by all age groups with low entertainment expectations and high stress levels. This is that special Indian masala movie cooked up each Diwali by rich stars ostensibly for hard-working citizens of a low common denominator (read cooks and drivers), but secretly enjoyed by all, including corporate czars and intellectuals.
It sparks only in a few parts ( there’s a hilarious silent set between the five men, which tells you just how funny the director can be), as well as a few rib-cracking dialogues.
The filmmakers have six main actors to juggle with, and as many side comedians to lend parts to. Never mind the narrative, they’d be happy with as any corny antics and dialogues with whoever’s available.
